What is the standard lead-time for bent sheet metal parts?
Bent sheet metal parts are typically shipped within 2-3 business days. Adding additional services to your parts such as powder coating or hole operations will increase your lead time.
What is the tolerance of bent sheet metal parts?
Most bends are made with an angle tolerance of +/- 1 degree and a length tolerance of +/- 0.015 inches. Large bends over 24 inches can cause some warping to the part. Compound bends will have a larger tolerance of +/- 0.020 inches.
Will my bent sheet metal parts show die marks?
Yes, there will be small score lines along the outer surface of your bent parts. These are caused by the die used to bend your parts. We do not offer any services to remove or prevent these marks. For a cosmetic finish we recommend adding powder coating.
Is deburring included in the price?
Yes! Deburring is automatically included in our standard service at no additional cost. We use a combination of machines and hand tools to remove burrs from your parts, ensuring they are smooth, clean, and ready for use. Our team is dedicated to shipping you the highest quality parts possible.
Can I opt out of deburring for faster delivery?
Yes, if you need your parts faster, you can opt for a non-deburred finish to reduce lead time. However, we recommend deburring for most projects to ensure the best results and safe handling.
Can I request custom bend angles for my sheet metal parts?
Absolutely! We offer custom bending to meet your specific design requirements. Our precision equipment can handle bend angles between 1-135 degrees. Please upload a STEP file and our software will automatically find your desired angles.
How do you ensure the quality of the bent parts?

What design files do I need for Sheet Metal Bending?
To get an instant quote for your bent parts you need to export your file as a STEP. If you have issues exporting your files you can send us a message with any native file format (.step, .sldprt, .iges, etc) and we will help you repair and convert them.
